New York Day 8

Kenzie up and ready for the day!

We started our day in line at Battery Park waiting to get on the boat to go to see the Statue of Liberty.

The long line. We ended up waiting in line for an hour and a half before we got on the boat.

Kenzie fell asleep while we were waiting.

We ate lunch at liberty island then got on the boat and made our way to Ellis island.

I was tired from all the waiting so we didn't stay at Ellis island for very long.

We then went to where the twin towers were and the trade center memorial center.

This memorial was good. It was very touching and sad. I think Travis and myself about had tears in our eyes.

They are rebuilding some buildings and this is what it is going to look like when they are finished.

After this we went back to Johnny and Joanna's place to get our bags and headed to our hotel in Chelsey. We got settled in our hotel then went and got pizza. Then we went to the empire state building. We waited and waited in line. Today was all about waiting in line.

Today was very exhausting. We did a lot of waiting, but we got to see a lot. What fun things we got to see in New York!
