Vegas!!!

Thursday I had a flight to meet Travis in Vegas where he was there on business. I was a little nervous cause I've never flown by myself but I survived. When I got there Travis and my brother Karl who lives there picked me up. Karl dropped us off at our hotel and I checked out Travis' fancy room. Travis and I then went to Cezars to go shopping. After shopping we got freshened up and went to dinner at a place called Pistro. We both got pizza. We then walked to the Mirrage to see show LOVE! It was interesting with some cool stuff but it was also quite weird. It was fun to sing the songs though. After the show we went back to our fancy room at the Plazzo. Friday morning we went swimming it was really windy so we just relaxed in the hot tub. Later Karl picked us up and went back to his place relaxed some more. Later we went shopping some more and went and saw Katie (Karl's wife) at work. She was able to sing for us. It was fun. We went that night to dinner with them at a really good Mexican restaurant and then played games. Saturday we hung out with Karl and played some games. We had a flight that night to come home. Kenzie was glad to see us. She was a good girl while I was away. Enjoy some pics from the short trip.

Ducks and Park

We went to feed the ducks and to the park cause of the nice weather. Kenzie loved both. She kept saying "ducky" and "wee" while going down the slide. What a fun day. She loves playing with her cousins.

5 Years!!!

I can't believe it's been 5 years since I married my best friend. We have learned a lot these last 5 years and look forward to what is next. We started the day with Breakfast in bed then we took Kenzie sledding. She liked it and we all had fun. Later Travis surprised me with what our evening would entail. The place he planned for dinner wasn't there so we ended up at the pie cause Travis was craving pizza. He still wouldn't tell me what we were doing then I threw a guess out there and I was right. He planned a night at The Anniversary Inn and had Kenzie all planned at the baby sitter. It was her first sleepover. I had a hard time cause I wasn't mentally prepared for her sleeping over. But I survived and so did she. We watched some movies and had some chocolate covered strawberries Travis made. It was a nice surprise and a wonderful five year anniversary with my love. I look forward to many more to come.

I PASSED!!! I'm an RN!!!

So I took the NCLEX on Monday the 23rd. I found out that I passed the 24th at 11:00pm when the website refreshes. It's crazy that I'm finished and it still doesn't seem real. I worked very hard doing 150 practice question a day for about 3 weeks straight. But I'm so happy to have finally reached my goal that took me 7 1/2 year to get. I'm so excited to give my time to my wonderful husband and little girl. This is proof that I am officially a Registered Nurse!!!

Quick up date

This is Travis, I'm updating you on why Kira is not posting... Here are the top 3 reasons.

1. She has been busy at school. you'll be glad to know that she has finished Nursing school and is pursing a Job in this field.
2. Since finishing school there is one more step she must take to obtain her nursing license, the NCLEX. She has been studying hard for this test and will be taking it on the 23rd of this month. Wish her luck.
3. Okay I guess there are only two reasons but since I have your attention , you should check out my blog tkdsign.blogspot.com. I decided to start contributing. Check it out to find out more

4th Semester Clinical Group

This is my 4th semester clinical group. We were able to do our clinicals at the U! This was a fun group. Six of us started out from first semester. It's nice to be able to stay with your friends. The exciting part is this is the last clinicals and will soon be finished. Its so nice to finally be at this point.
